Aufgaben
As a member of the 4flow team, you will be responsible for all planning and execution activities within the customer plants, your primary tasks in this position will include the following:
- Leading and developing an international supply chain management team to ensure successful execution of daily operations
- Managing the daily flow of goods to and from two customer sites through efficient handling of exceptions
- Driving escalations with carriers on ad-hoc issues and conducting structural carrier management activities
- Communicating regularly with customers regarding the status of operations
- Identifying and implementing continuous improvement measures to optimize transport costs and operations in our state-of-the-art transportation management system
Profil
- You have a university degree ideally with a major in logistics/supply chain management or a similar field and a firm knowledge of transportation management in road freight or planning field
- More than two years of experience in supervising and developing a team
- You are strongly result-driven and can adapt to various new situations and peak operation periods, with a structured approach to problem solving
- You are highly customer oriented and enthusiastic about the field of logistics
- You are confident in using IT systems and have strong communication skills in English and German
